Here's how to set up 2-factor authentication for your billing account using a mobile device as your TOTP token. YubiKeys should also be compatible.
- Log in to your account.
- Go to "Manage Account" by clicking your username in the top right corner.
- Go to the "Authentication" tab.
- Check "Enable Two-Factor Authentication" then follow the revealed instructions.
By default, the reset process for bypassing two-factor authentication is just emailing support, but you can choose a stronger option under "Additional Settings."
We currently support calling a phone number, emailing a specific email, or sending mail (US Only) to confirm the reset of your two-factor auth token. This additional confirmation is also used for resetting the primary SSH key on file.
A separate contact type is available for specifying an email to use specifically for confirming two-factor auth or SSH key resets.
